The Educational Development Committee's mission and purpose is to provide a forum for the positive dialogue and exchange of information designed to bring to the forefront the disparities in the educational achievement of African-American elementary, middle and high school students within the Louisville Metropolitan area. These disparities are the source of major gaps in the academic achievement of African-American students.
The Educational Development Committee's fundraiser is a t-shirt and accessories campaign. The fundraisers slogan is, "EDquity for Students Families & Communities." The purpose of our fundraiser is to raise money to sponsor a “Delta Educational Summer Camp'' for diverse students in marginalized areas of Louisville.
