GROWING & EMPOWERING MYSELF SUCCESSFULLY

The Louisville Alumnae Chapter invites you to participate in our youth program for young African American Women entitled Delta GEMS (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully) for high school young ladies. The goal of Delta GEMS is to guide young ladies into womanhood with educational support and professional guidance. They will learn to create opportunities for academic success, as well as enhanced decision making and communication skills. They will also experience talent development which will empower them to compete in a global society, becoming change agents who are capable of transforming communities.​​

Louisville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is poised to provide safe and healthy environments where optimism, faith, fortitude, genius, self-worth and self-love exist without boundaries.  During monthly sessions facilitated by experts in the sorority and the community, we will explore a wide range of issues, ensuring that participants are resilient, academically superior, powerful, and know their worth and value.
