MIDWEST LIBRARY PROJECT
​ "Seeing Black in REad"

Come out and pay homage to the past by continuing the legacy of literacy with a focus on Black Americans.
This initiative supports the National Strategic Priorities.  This day will be an opportunity for Deltas to have a boots on the ground experience. As we participate in this event we will be collecting data across all the entire region!

As a part of this initiative we will be giving banned books to our youth initiatives. We have developed an amazon wish list. As a chapter and community we will purchase these books on the wishlist and give them away to our youth!

Our primary focus will be women and girls. We will be Partnering with the Louisville Free Public Library ( Newburg location), University of Louisville (Ekstrom Library), and I Love Book foundation.
