Below you will find some of the programs LAC is conducting this year with our thrusts.
Educational Development
The Educational Development Committee of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is dedicated to promoting academic excellence and lifelong learning within the community. Through programs, scholarships, and partnerships, the committee supports youth and adults in achieving their educational goals, closing achievement gaps, and empowering individuals through knowledge and opportunity. Our programs include:
∆ Education Forum
∆ Flash Deltas
∆ EMBODI
∆ Delta Academy
∆ Delta G.E.M.S

International Awareness & Involvement
The primary focus of the International Awareness and Involvement committee is to promote, preserve, and sustain the Sorority's IAI Sustainability Plan through donations made from chapters and individual members to support the Sorority's seven approved international projects and initiatives. Through international awareness and involvement projects, members of the chapter and the community will broaden their knowledge and understanding of nations other than their own, increase interest in international affairs, and aid in developing a greater appreciation for people of different backgrounds and cultures.
Physical & Mental Health
Physical & Mental Health provides information, engagement and opportunities to elevate awareness and the consciousness of our beloved community of the positive impacts of having good physical and mental health through activities and outreach, such as Walk & Talk with the Deltas, Caregivers Tea, fitness challenges/healthy lifestyle initiatives, mindfulness moments, physical/mental/spiritual wellness forums, and participation in local walks with the goal of fundraising for research for treatments and cures. For more information on the initiatives and activities of the Physical & Mental Health committee, please email us at pandmhealth@dstlouisville.org.

Political Awareness & Involvement
(Social Action)
Political Awareness & Involvement promotes civic engagement through non-partisan programs that highlight the importance of voting and advocacy. The committee encourages members to be active in the political process and stay informed on local, state, and national issues, serving as a catalyst for social and policy change. The chapter's activities include:
∆ Voter Registration Drives
∆ Political Awareness Forums
∆ Educational Awareness Seminars
∆ Delta Days at the Capitol
