Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy
The Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy is a signature program designed for young ladies ages 11-14. Delta Academy provides an opportunity for young ladies to become exposed to scholarship in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Delta Academy aims to augment its opportunities to provide service in the form of leadership through service learning, and sisterhood by cultivating interpersonal relationships amongst their peers.
From STEM to leadership, financial literacy, mental wellness, and global awareness, Delta Academy provides a fun, supportive space for young ladies to build confidence, discover their purpose, and embrace their power.

Delta Academy Sessions are scheduled at least one Saturday per month between
September 2026 - May 2027.
Program Eligibility Criteria:

∆ Girls must be no younger than 11 years old and no older than 14 years old as of their most recent birthday. This program is designed for the period of early to mid-adolescence and focuses on middle school.
∆ Girls and their parent/guardian must complete a Delta Academy application in order to be eligible to participate in the program.
∆ Girls must be willing to commit to a minimum of 3 hours per month to participate in Delta Academy (there is no cost to participate in the program).
