Delta GEMS, a national signature program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., is community based program created to inspire young women and help them to actualize their dreams. Delta GEMS provides a positive network for teenage girls ages 14-18 to strengthen and develop their will to achieve. By encouraging a “CAN DO” attitude, Delta GEMS strives to “catch the dreams” of at-risk, adolescent girls. The purpose of Delta GEMS program is to form a road map for college and career planning which incorporates five major components: Scholarship, Sisterhood, Show Me the Money, Service and Infinitely Complete. Each component provides opportunities for self-growth and enables young ladies to function intellectually, responsibly and socially in today’s society.

Delta G.E.M.S. Sessions are scheduled at least two Saturdays per month between
September 2026 - May 2027.
Program Eligibility Criteria:

∆ Girls must be no younger than 14 years old and no older than 18 years old as of their most recent birthday. This program is designed for the period of adolescence and focuses on high school.
∆ Girls and their parent/guardian must complete a Delta G.E.M.S. application in order to be eligible to participate in the program.
∆ Girls must be willing to commit to a minimum of 3 hours per month to participate in Delta G.E.M.S. (there is no cost to participate in the program).
